Lauren Conrad has finally opened up about why she attended Spencer and Heidi's wedding in 2009.
If, like me, you're still in denial The Hills ever ended - feat not, LC is shilling a new book so has plenty to say about the show that made her a household name.
The MTV hit debuted on our screens 10 years ago and Speidi wed just three years later after a fake Mexico wedding and endless drama.
And it turns out there's another reason why Lauren looked so uncomfortable at their wedding (this was after the famous "You know what you did" fight) - and it wasn't just because producers forced her to attend to wrap up her storyline and pass to baton on to Kristen Cavallari.
The former Teen Vogue intern said she was "locked in a basement" as the electricity in the church went out.
"The power went out, the generator went out and I said, 'I need to leave!'" Conrad told Us Weekly.
"And [producers] wouldn't let me leave! They literally locked me in the basement with two security guards and wouldn't let me leave! And I was like, 'You can't keep me here!' I was throwing a fit!"
"At that point, this wasn't really my life anymore, and I left out the [church's] side door, so that's why in the final scene, I'm not leaving with everyone else — I'm taking a side exit out because I had a car waiting, and I needed to leave!"
Producer Adam DiVello said she "might have felt locked in, but she was not."
The drama continues.
