When asked about her relationship status, she replied: "Maybe I am dating someone."

But she said that a lot of the time, there's no truth in speculation about her personal life.

"It's scary how things can get blown out of proportion. And I've learned a long time ago it's good to keep things for yourself.

"It's unnecessary pressure to have people speculating. I've always been private with certain parts of my life."

She said the dating world can be a "scary place" - and dating sites terrify her.

The star also said that it was "demeaning" for her to have people assume that just because someone approached her, it must lead to something else.

"I'm not sure if guys get it the same. I'm just a girl at the end of the day, getting on with life. But I always love having banter and chatting to people.

Alluding to the night of the Baftas which saw her party with Leonardo DiCaprio in his model-filled penthouse, she said most of her nights out are perfectly innocent.

"Most of the guys I've been pictured with are just people I've had a laugh with and some banter. Can you imagine being connected to everyone you chatted to on a night out? What a scary thought."
