Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are still legally married and she's making his medical decisions
Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are still legally married, it has been revealed.
The couple wed in 2009 before splitting in 2013 and eventually filed for divorce in June of this year. However, due to a backlog in divorces at the Los Angeles Superior County Court, they are still legally married and wouldn't have been divorced until December at the earliest.
"He never signed a living will, so Khloé is making decisions for him. It's very stressful. She is lost," a source told People.
Lamar was found unresponsive at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada during the afternoon on Tuesday 13 October. It’s claimed he checked into the brothel on Saturday 10 October and has been using an herbal supplement throughout his stay.
Khloe has also flown out his father Joe, his ex-wife Liza Morales and their two children Destiny (17) and Lamar Jr (13) to be with their father at his bedside.
She is being supported by her mother Kris and sister Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, while Kendall Jenner flew early from Shanghai Fashion Week to be in Las Vegas with her family.
Kris has broken her silence on her son-in-law's condition, urging followers to pray for him on social media. While social recluse Rob has even been seen at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, where Lamar (35) is being treated, and posted a rare message on Instagram saying he is "praying nonstop for my brother."
Kendall posted a message on Twitter saying "please don't go."
A family source told People magazine they are rallying around Lamar.

"They're pretty sure this is goodbye, but they're praying for a miracle. They know that God has the power to heal him, but that's really the last hope at this point. This is really bad."
"Everyone has dropped everything to get there. There are a lot of calls and texts going back and forth as everyone is figuring out how they can help and be there for each other. The family has been told that this isn't just a minor thing; that it was extremely serious."
Odom's NBA pals have also joined in, with former LA Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant flying to Nevada to be his former teammate's side. And Kobe's wife last night pleaded for responsible reporting.
"At the end of the day, he has a family and loved ones that care for him. People shouldn't be posting/reposting that he is deceased when it isn't true. Just imagine what his loved ones must feel like to receive such terrible news," she wrote, posting an image of Odom in his No. 7 L.A. Lakers uniform."
According to a press conference held by local Sheriff Sharon Wehrly and the Nye County Sheriff’s Office yesterday, Odom had used "up to 10 tabs of sexual performance enhancements over a three day period.”
In the 911 calls, obtained by TMZ, two women can be heard saying that “was unconscious but breathing and had blood coming from his nose and mouth along with a white substance.”
The Sheriff’s Office also revealed that they contacted a member of the Kardashian family who was "understandably distraught" at learning of his condition.
However, no illegal drugs were found in the suite where he was found.
Love Ranch Owner Dennis Hof said: "We never saw it. My staff told him: no drugs."
Hof added that Lamar was in a good mood until he received a phone call Sunday that "bummed him out."
It is believed that the phone call was in relation to his portrayal on the reality show starring his wife, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
His best friend Jamie Sagouthai died in June of this year of a drug overdose and at the time, the E! star said she was "always going to be there" for her ex.
"I'm always going to be there for Lamar, especially when something as tragic as this happen," she added.
"I'm really on high alert for Lamar because I mean, anything I think will set him to spiral, and that's kind of the last thing I want for him."
Earlier this year, Khloe told E! News she would always be in love with her ex-husband.
"I was so obsessed with him in a healthy way. He was my husband, and I still wish he was, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that," she said.
