Kylie unsure about spinning around
Kylie Minogue has confessed she felt like a "rabbit in the headlights" the first time she had to spin her chair for The Voice auditions.
The pop princess - who ironically had a hit with Spinning Around and who is used to performing live in front of millions - has joined Sir Tom Jones, Will.i.am and fellow new coach Ricky Wilson on the panel of the BBC singing show, but admitted she was extremely nervous about hitting the big red button when she heard a voice she liked.
Kylie revealed: "I was petrified, I was an absolute rabbit in the headlights, thinking what have I got myself into, how long does this go on for, and that stands to reason it's getting used to everything, but then I started to find my feet and you have no option but to really invest in it and be totally exhausted by it actually. You eat, sleep, drink, breathe the show."
And the pint-sized singer's caution meant she was the last judge left with spaces on her team.
Kylie - who has replaced Jessie J on the show - confessed: "I was the last one - it was horrible, I hated it. There were quite a number of performers left to go and the announcer would keep saying 'so, the only person that is still left is Kylie'. I'm small but every moment I was getting smaller. I was like please just swallow me up."
But the star admitted her confidence was growing as the judges prepared for the battle rounds.
Kylie admitted: "I don't know how much longer I can play the new girl card for because I think a Voice filming day is like dog years, so it's actually like seven days in one day, so consequently, they feel like family very quickly."
