Kimberly Stewart: I've loved every second of motherhood
Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly has told how being a mother has made her tone down her days as a party girl.
The socialite, 35, says she has "loved every second" of being a stay-at-home mother to her daughter Delilah, who turns four next month.
She told Hello! Magazine: "I honestly never, ever thought that I could love anything as much as I love her.
"I had her at the right time. I got all the partying out of my system and I just wanted to be with her all the time. I've been a stay-at-home mother since she was born and I've loved every second."
She said she wanted to "be the best mum that I could be" to Delilah, whose father is Hollywood actor Benicio del Toro.
Kimberly said: "She's the greatest thing in my life. She's sassy and (has a) great manner - I really instilled that from a young age - so she's always saying 'please' and 'thank you'."
Kimberly, who lives with her half sister Ruby in Beverley Hills, is starring alongside her family in a new reality television show. And she revealed that while she rows with her mother Alana Hamilton a lot, her father is usually the peacemaker.
She said: "Dad is very involved and is also the peacemaker, although sometimes he can be the s***stirrer!
"He'll sit back and watch something go off, then he'll be like, 'Oh now, what did I do? I just made Kim and Ruby fight'. He's got a very mischievous sense of humour."
Kimberly also revealed that filming the E! reality show Hamiltons & Stewarts with her family "forced us to deal with our issues".
"My mum and I argue all the time and even though we always made up, on the show we couldn't just not talk to each other," she said.
"We had to move from our issues and move forward."
She also told the magazine she had been "dating here and there but no one who I would want to introduce Delilah to".
