Kim Kardashian was 'a little cranky' during labour with son Saint
Reality star Kris Jenner has revealed daughter Kim Kardashian was "a little cranky" but "amazing" while in labour with son Saint.
The 35-year-old gave birth to her second child with husband Kanye West on Saturday, and revealed they had named him Saint West on Monday. While the new parents have yet to be seen in public, proud grandma Kris, 60, has opened up about the labour and how proud she is of her daughter.
"She was amazing," Kris told Entertainment Tonight. "I mean, she's a really strong girl - a little cranky when she gets uncomfortable - but, other than that, she's amazing."
Kim had a tough few weeks leading up to the birth as Saint was initially breech and had to be maneuvered into the correct position, and during the labour, the star reportedly had to deal with a condition called placenta accreta, where the placenta grows too deeply into the uterus.
Now the drama and pain is over and Kris is just thrilled to have her family back home and out of hospital.
"We definitely went (to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center) quite a few times, and now he's home, so we're happy that everyone's safe and sound and all tucked in, so it's good," she added. "He's amazing. We've only known him a few days so we'll see if he's calm, or you know, anxious, we'll see what kind of kid he is!"
Kim has previously opened up about her pregnancy problems, taking to her website last month and wrote about how she dealt with the placenta accreta when she was expecting her first child, two-year-old daughter North.
"(The doctor) had to stick his entire arm in and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails," she wrote."My mom was crying; she had never seen anything like this before."
