The reality TV star rushed to be with her estranged husband Lamar after he was taken to hospital unconscious last week (beg12Oct15).

He is alleged to have suffered a drug overdose induced by cocaine and a herbal pill similar to Viagra, and was in a coma for three days after being discovered in a Las Vegas brothel.

Khloé didn't leave Lamar's side in hospital and travelled with him when he was discharged on Monday (19Oct15), something which her former boyfriend, rapper French Montana, is impressed by.

"It's a beautiful thing, what she's doing," he told New York Daily News' Confidenti@l column. "I feel like every woman should do that."

Khloé and Lamar split in 2013 after rumours he was battling a drug addiction and had been unfaithful. She has been open about how hard she found their breakup as had things been different, she believes they would still be married.

Meanwhile, Lamar has continued to refer to her as his wife and suggested no man will ever mean as much to her as he did.

"I feel like once somebody's going through a critical condition, I feel like people should step up to the plate to help," French added.

Khloé's family - including her mother Kris Jenner and sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner - all supported her at the hospital, with Kim posting a message on Instagram after Lamar woke up on Friday.

On Tuesday Khloé broke her silence via social media, thanking fans for their support and saying without it she doesn't know how she would have coped.

"The past week has been incredibly difficult," Khloe wrote on her website. "I am so thankful to family, friends, and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!!"

It's thought basketball star Lamar will need extensive rehab as he recovers, with Khloé said to be readying to support him thought that.

According to TMZ, the 31-year-old star has cooled her romance with athlete James Harden so she can be on hand for Lamar as much as possible.
