Kerry Katona took to Twitter last night to ask fans for support after her husband was rushed to hospital believed to have suffered a stroke.
George Kay (34) collapsed in the couple’s Oxfordshire mansion yesterday and was rushed to a nearby A&E.
“Asking you all to say a prayer for my @MrGsJKay has been taken to hospital with signs of a stoke [sic],” Kerry tweeted.
The father of Kerry’s one-year-old daughter Dylan-Jorge is believed to have been suffering from Bell's Palsy.
A spokesperson for Kerry said: “He walked into the hospital himself. He’s conscious and talking.
“Kerry is very worried as you can imagine.”
George later tweeted from his hospital bed: “Hoping it’s Bell’s Paisley [sic] (think that’s how you spell it) xxx.”
George was hospitalised last August before his wedding.
Thames Valley Police were contacted by a concerned woman who saw 34-year-old George running in and out of cars on the road outside the couple’s home.
A squad arrived at the scene in Oxford and overpowered the burly former rugby player.
A neighbour claimed “he was behaving very strangely - actually it was quite frightening.”
“An ambulance arrived and the policemen climbed into the back and off they went. It was quite an unusual spectacle," the neighbour added.
Kerry began dating George months after he was released from a six year jail sentence where he was serving time for blackmail.
However, Kerry has always stressed that he deserves a second chance.
