Even Rob Kearney may have trouble keeping up with his fitness fanatic girlfriend.
As the Irish rugby star gears up for the next Six Nations test, Jess Redden revealed that she will be going into training for her own fitness challenge - a gruelling triathlon.
The 22-year-old is getting ready to swim, cycle and kayak across Wicklow for an adventure race taking place at the end of April.
While the couple are very private about their relationship, it seems they have bonded over their shared passion for sport and fitness.
"I am doing the Quest Adventure race in Glendalough on April 23," Jess told the Diary.
"It is rowing instead of swimming so I don't know how I will be at that. I have kayaked once or twice, but one of my friends is a fitness instructor so she is always going off an doing these mad adventures and she roped me into doing it with her. I love fitness and running, but I haven't done more than the mini-marathon so this will be a challenge."
The self-confessed gym bunny admitted that she still has plenty of training to do in order to cope with the mountainous terrain.
"I will go up to Glendalough and I will try to cycle in and out of work, but it's better to get up to the mountains."
relationship Jess, who does not speak publicly about her relationship with Rob, said she is a rugby fan, but it's not the only sport that tickles her fancy.
"I play tennis once a week and I used to play hockey in school," she said.
The Dundrum native signed with model agent Andrea Roche after Christmas, but so far has only had time to do a few jobs due to her busy work schedule, as well as applying to study pharmacy later this year.
Jess and rugby star Rob (29) have been dating since 2014 and the Louth native is said to be smitten with the petite blonde. The publicity shy couple are rarely snapped out together, but they did enjoy a romantic break to sunny Dubai last October.
The psychology graduate took time out to help launch the inaugural Virgin Media Night Run which will take place around Dublin City Centre on May 22.
Virgin Media aims to raise €10,000 in aid of the Dublin Simon Community and Jess is hoping to take part in the 10km run as part of her training for Quest.
