Katie Price signs daughter (8) to modelling agency despite backlash over make-up selfies
Katie Price has signed her eight year old daughter Princess to a modelling agency.
The news comes just days after Katie faced backlash for posting photos of Princess wearing full make-up.
"I do not have to explain anything to anyone," Katie told The Sun. "Princess has joined a modelling agency so she has a lot of castings. Anything like a panto or acting she would love."
Katie, who is appearing in pantomime in Woking, added that she is not bothered by the criticism.
"She loves make-up and if so good at it. We are in a theatre and there is make-up everywhere. When she is here, of course she can experiment," she said.
Katie posted another image of Princess wearing heavy make-up and pouting for the camera to Instagram on Saturday night, captioned "Here she goes again."
Some fans were critical in response. However, others supported Katie's stance.
One wrote, "There's putting make-up on and then there's this! fair enough they like to try it but am I the only one that reckons this is just too far?! I would never allow my 8 year old to go out like this' while another responded, "She is a young girl who wants to put makeup on!!!! Why is everyone kicking off about it!? I don't see the problem most of young girls do this. I used to do it all the time".
Last week Katie posted an Instagram video - captioned "Princess fires back #family" - in which Princess herself responds to the criticism.
"By the way, I want to do my make-up, not my mum. I do. And anyway, it's none of your beeswax!"
