Katie Holmes has come a long way since Tom Cruise's couch-jumping days.
The actress (37) may have opted for life away from the limelight, but made an exception to promote her directorial debut, All We Had, which will be screened at the Tribeca Film Festival.
The mother-of-one stunned in a sleeveless black blouse and high waisted sequin trousers by Chanel at the fashion house's exclusive annual pre-festival Artists Dinner, which also attracted big names like Robert DeNiro and Chloe Sevigny.
Earlier on Monday, Katie was celebrated her daughter Suri Cruise's 10th birthday, sharing a sweet post on Instagram.
"So grateful for my favorite day of the year!!!!!! Happy Birthday to my sweet angel Suri,” she wrote.
Holmes took her parents and two of Suri's pals for a lunch at Tavern on the Green in Central Park on Sunday for a pre-birthday bash, according to PEOPLE.
"Rather than cake and a rousing rendition of 'Happy Birthday,' Suri and her pals quietly opted for freshly-baked cookies from Tavern on the Go before heading off into sunny Central Park," the insider added.
Meanwhile, it has emerged that little Suri isn't suffering from any confidence issues as she reportedly fired her music teacher over "creative differences", according to the New York's Post's Page Six.
"She said she was ‘a very nice person,’ but that it didn’t work out,” the source said.
