Kathryn Thomas: 'The last thing you want is to have a split in public'
RTE star Kathryn Thomas has reached out to Imelda May in the wake of her marriage split.
The rockabilly singer and her husband of 13 years Daryl Higham announced via Facebook they would be ending their marriage and Kathryn has offered her sympathies in her column with the Irish Daily Star.
The Voice of Ireland host also acknowledged Brian McFadden and Vogue Williams confirming they would be partying ways after nearly three years of marriage on Twitter and Myleene Klass and Graham Quinn's heated war of words in the media.
"However bitter it gets between two people, the last thing you want is to have it out in public," she said.
"And so the speculation will start as to what happened to the rock solid rockabilly couple? All sorts of untruths and rumours may be printed and it is up to the couple how they handle it."
Kathryn experienced her own high profile split in 2012 when she parted ways with Garda Enda Waters after five years together.
