The Voice of Ireland host (36) currently lives with the restaurateur, and while she says she is regularly asked about babies and a wedding, she is simply happy to have found her "forever" man.

"We've moved in together, we've been together two and a half years, it's 'When are the babies happening,' and 'When is the white dress happing and when are you giving your mother a day out with a hat,' and she's sick of calling my dogs her grandchildren.

"If, and when, it happens, fantastic - I think for the first time in my life I can see forever with this person and that's a big, huge step for me, a big mental shift for me, where I would have always been on the run and looking for the next thing and caught up in my own whirlwind," she told the January issue of Irish Tatler.

"I think the more he has his s**t and I have mine, the more we've come together in a way that I didn't expect, I feel at peace with that."

The Carlow native also revealed her athletic figure is down to a lifestyle of moderation and regularly gym sessions.

"I drink coffee, I eat bread, I like red wine, I eat cheese. There's no food that I don't eat bar Turkish delight because I don't like it. It's about moderation and because I love my food, I have to train. I'm not a naturally skinny person, nor do I want to be, I'm pretty athletic and I build muscle quite quickly. I like having that definition and I like having that strong body that can run a half marathon and do an Ironman, do a triathlon.

"I'm by no means a slave to any particular way of living, I just know that plenty of sleep, good food, things in moderation, fitness and going out and having a bloody good time with you friends and your family and your partner is important as well."
