Kate Middleton giving Princess Anne side eye at Ascot is the best thing you'll see today
Kate Middleton is the new queen of side eye.
I love catching celebrities in genuinely candid moments, even if just for a flicker of a second. They forget the world is watching and let their guard slip and you're reminded that there might be a relatively normal person lurking under there.
While at Royal Ascot on Wednesday, never have we more related to the world's most stylish royal and her interactions with one of her in-laws - not a sentence we throw around often.
We all have an aunt or cousin we get stuck with at a party, who won't stop talking about their dog Charlie's third birthday party and how he did the cutest thing in his sleep; all the while you're mentally planning your wardrobe for the week.
But when those people are the Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Anne...well, this gives a rare glimpse into what life might really be like at the royal family's Christmas dinner.
Perhaps it has something to do with Anne's, er, well wishes when Prince George was born in 2013. "Nothing to do with me, but it's very good news," she said at the time. Don't gush too much, you'll embarrass yourself.
It begins with Prince Charles' sister showing her niece-in-law information in the pamphlet, while Kate puts on her best diligent face.
Then, it happened...
What was that Anne?
We've seen that eye roll before - when Kate Middleton and Prince William were in New York and she was told to "hurry up" at a charity event in Harlem, the internet was given with this gif that will live on forever.
When she wasn't telling Princess Anne what was what, Kate otherwise looked to enjoy her debut at Royal Ascot, wearing a cream Dolce & Gabbana dress and Jane Taylor fascinator.
