Kanye West's hospitalisation 'far from over' as emotional problems 'go much deeper'
Kanye West is facing a long road to recovery after being admitted to hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
The 39-year-old rapper was admitted to UCLA hospital on Monday afternoon seeking treatment for exhaustion and dehydration. Reports suggest his condition is more severe than previously thought as his insurance company is expect to cover the cost of his cancelled 21 concert dates for his Pablo tour.
He will be spending Thanksgiving in hospital today while his wife Kim Kardashian stays by his bedside. The father-of-two, who has North (three) and Saint (11 months) with Kim, is reportedly "starting to feel more like himself" and understands "resting and getting help."
"They are taking it day by day. He understands that getting help at the hospital was necessary," a source told People.
"Family and friends are around. Kim is being amazing. As are all of his friends and team and inner circle."
Meanwhile, insiders told TMZ that West will continue residing at UCLA until the weekend at least as his problems "go much deeper" as he focuses on getting the help he requires.
It's reported that the rapper was experiencing temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration.
