Justin Bieber has said the last thing that made him cry was a documentary about Amy Winehouse.
The Canadian pop star, 21, said the Rehab singer was an "incredible" talent during an interview on Channel 4's Alan Carr: Chatty Man.
Asked when he cried last, he said: "Probably watching the Amy Winehouse documentary on the way here. That got me. You know the ending and that whole movie was just depressing, but man, was she talented. Her voice was incredible."
Bieber also talked about how he got emotional at the MTV Video Music Awards, telling Carr: "It was just a lot man. It was my first time performing on TV for like three years or something and I was really nervous and just wanted it to go well.
"I got a standing ovation and just to be accepted by my peers felt really nice."
Asif Kapadia's film Amy has won rave reviews, but Mitch Winehouse, Amy's father, has hit out at the makers of the documentary, and described it as "very hurtful".
He said it focused too much on his daughter's battle with drugs and skipped over her "sense of fun", adding: "We are very disappointed, it missed a trick and it was very hurtful for the family."
Amy died in 2011 aged just 27 after a long-publicised battle with drink and drugs.
