Just like any other mum on the school run - Spain's Queen Letizia drives Princess Leonor on first day back
It's been a busy week for young royals starting school.
Just days after Britain's Prince George was accompanied by his father Prince William for his first day of big school, Spain's Queen Letizia (44) did the school run with her daughter Princess Leonor this morning.
At 11, Leonor is experienced in the attention her family brings doing day-to-day activities, but Letizia avoided drawing too much attention to herself while dropping off her daughter at the Santa Maria de los Rosales school in Madrid.
The queen, who has been married to King Felipe for 13 years, looked casual in a pair of rolled up boyfriend jeans, white canvas runners and a perforated bag. Last month, Denmark's Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine posed for photographers with their parents Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary as they made their to the Tranegaard School in Hellerup in Copenhagen.
