Johnny McDaid takes to the stage in Dublin as Courteney Cox pleads with him to spend Christmas in LA
Courteney Cox is reportedly trying to convince Johnny McDaid to spend Christmas in Los Angeles instead of at home in Northern Ireland in a bid to save their relationship.
The couple is believed to have parted ways in October but Courteney (51) hopes Johnny (39) will decide to spend Christmas in her LA home with her daughter Coco.
“She believes they can work out their differences if he’s prepared to spend the holidays with her and her daughter,” a source told The Sunday World.
The couple were together for 17 months and even became engaged before they split in the autumn. The Snow Patrol rocker moved out of Courteney’s Beverly Hills home.
Johnny has moved back to Ireland following the split and last night joined Kodaline on stage in Dublin’s 3Arena.
“His departure has completely devastated her,” the source said.
“She knew they had a few problems, but didn’t think these were serious enough in any way to jeopardise their relationship.
“Now she is desperate to sit down with him to see if there’s any chance they can rekindle their romance. He really is the love of her life and she’s hoping they can at least talk over the Christmas and New Year break.”
Cocurteney’s daughter (11) has reportedly taken the break-up particularly badly.
“That little girl absolutely adores Johnny and although she’ll spend time with her real dad over Christmas she treated Johnny like another father figure.
“She hasn’t stopped crying since he left. Courteney is hoping Johnny might find it in his heart to spend Christmas with them simply for Coco’s sake,” the source said.
