Johnny McDaid has reportedly moved back home to Ireland since his split with Courtney Cox.
The Snow Patrol rocker and Friends actress quietly parted ways last month, but news of their break-up became public in recent days.
And by managing to keep it low-key for a number of weeks, the former couple were able to get their affairs in order away from the spotlight - including Johnny moving his things out of the Malibu home they've shared for the last 17 months.
The couple became engaged since 2014 after just a few months of dating and were expected to walk up the aisle next year.
Johnny hails from Derry and is spending time at his home there to help him recover from his heartbreak.
He even brought the Scream star home to Ireland on several occasions, and last summer, they brought Courteney's 11-year-old daughter Coco, whom he introduced to his mother and her friends.
No official reason has been given for the split, but they are said to have different approaches to fame with Courteney enjoying nights out with her famous pals, while he prefers to avoid the limelight where possible.
It would have been the first marriage for McDaid and second for Cox, who was married to actor David Arquette for 13 years before divorcing in 2013.
During their relationship, Cox clearly supported her ex's Irish heritage and even directed Kodaline's Love Will Set You Free music video after being introduced through her former fiancé. Her best friend, Jennifer Aniston, also hosted an Irish themed Christmas last year.
