John Travolta (and his hands) were the the most awkward part of the Oscars

John Travolta clearly has no concept of personal space.

The legendary actor (61) returned to last night's Academy Awards to present the award for Best Original Song and redeem himself after last year's slip-up pronunciation of Idina Menzel's name.

And while his wife Kelly Preston may have been his official date, he also brought his hands - which he used to touch everyone and everything that he could.

From thumbs-upping at every opportunity to awkwardly gabbing Scarlett Johansson and Idina Menzel's face, his hands will likely be nominated for Best Supporting Extremity at next year's ceremony.
