Jamie Foxx's 'good friend' confirms he and Katie Holmes are dating: 'He's very happy'
Are they or aren't they?
Jamie Foxx (48) and Katie Holmes (37) have been rumoured to be dating - at least according to the tabloids - for well over a year, but both have consistently denied the claims.
Now, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Claudia Jordan who says she is a "good friend" of the Oscar-nominated actor, has confirmed the pair are dating, making it the first time anyone in Foxx or Holmes' camp has confirmed the relationship since they were first linked in 2013.
"He is very happy with her [Katie]e. I like that he seems very happy," she said, speaking on Theo Von and Matthew Cole Weiss's Allegedly podcast.
Last April, the Ray actor dispelled the rumours saying: “I’m not the person who wants to be defined by anybody I date. Even if I was dating someone, no one would know anyway. But it affects my situation because I got a girl, who’s like, ‘Yo, who’s this b****?’.”

Similarly, her rep further denied the claims, saying: "These stories are untrue and this gossip needs stop.
"Katie is not dating anyone. She’s not gushing about anyone...She was on phone with her daughter [Suri] when she supposedly was overheard saying 'I love you'."
In 2015, a picture leaked of the pair holding hands in a recording studio, but Foxx said the image was photoshopped as he was actually holding a phone and not her hand.
Yet another reason he said him and Holmes are just friends is the fact that he wouldn't betray his friend Tom Cruise - who was married to the former Dawson's Creek star - whom he met while filming Collateral in 2004.
“We were friendly when we did the movie,” he told radio hosts Rickey Smiley, Gary With Da Tea and Rock T. "You know how Hollywood is... They’re not necessarily your best friends but you have respect for them."
