RTE star Kathryn Thomas' new fitness business will is expected to rake in more than €700,000 over the next year.

The popular presenter set up Pure Results bootcamp in Cork in March and with prices starting at €1,199 for seven days of nutritional advice; intensive workouts and promises to kick-start a new healthy regime.

And it looks like she's on to a winner as she will be rolling out the bootcamp every week until the end of the year, after initial testing it for six weeks over the summer.

The bootcamp, which takes in 24 people per course, hosts 10 hours of exercise classes per day, offers yoga and educates its members on their health.

The 36-year-old has been operating on Inish Beg in Cork and will be moving premises to its permanent home in Dromore Castle, Co Kerry, according to the Irish Daily Mail.

They've hired the grounds for six months and plan on hosting at least 24 bootcamps next year.

"Bootcamp for me was meant to be five weeks, which turned into eight weeks, which turned into morning its home to having a permanent move for it next year," she told the paper.

"I think I could make it a very successful business. Like most things I do, it was a case of, "Let's give this a whirl and see what happens. It went well, but I have no idea whether it would work or not because it is a week off work to do it."

Although the Operation Transformation host is thrilled with her side business, she said her first passion will always be broadcasting and has no intention of giving up her thriving career.
