Irish 'Toddlers & Tiaras style' pageant invites Katie Price's daughter Princess to enter
Katie Price has been invited to enter her eight-year-old daughter in a child beauty pageant in Ireland.
The 37-year-old former glamour model, previously known as Jordan, has already said she plans to let her eldest daughter, Princess, participate in a children's beauty competition in the US.
But now Princess - who was last year pictured wearing a full face of make-up in an image shared on social media by her mother - is being lined up to compete in an American-themed event in Ireland. That will be hosted by Texas-based Universal Royalty Beauty Pageant.
Universal Royalty made headlines in September 2013, when the company was forced to host its first-ever Irish contest in a pub in Co Monaghan after a number of previously-booked venues opted out.
Despite the huge backlash it faced from children's watchdogs and concerned parents here, pageant boss Annette Hill has announced plans to return here later this year to stage a large "Toddlers and Tiaras"-style competition in either Dublin or Cork.
She indicated one of her first priorities would be to invite Katie Price to sign her daughter up to the glitzy event.
"Some people seem to think I had lost interest in Ireland after what happened last time I was over, but that's never been the case," she said.
"I had some personal issues to deal with and wasn't concentrating on the business as I normally would have been, but I've got my old fire back.
"There's a huge demand for child pageants in Ireland, and that's why I'm coming back. This time around, I'll have the venue properly sorted out.
"I know Katie's daughter has been invited to go to another pageant in the US - and that's not one that I'm involved with.
"But she doesn't need to go to all that trouble and expense, because I'll be bringing America to Ireland."
