He is one of Ireland's most eligible rugby players - she is one of the country's top models - and they have found love just in time for St Valentine's Day.
As Ireland battled France in, appropriately, the city of love this weekend, the Sunday Independent can reveal that Munster and Ireland star Conor Murray and former Miss Limerick Shauna Lindsay are an item, according to a source close to the couple. Late last year Limerick man Conor is said to have spotted Lindsay across a packed nightclub and decided the beautiful brunette was the one for him.
Originally from Co Clare, Shauna has been dating the sports star for the past four months.
Since then, the pair have been getting on 'famously' - with Shauna taking a keener interest in following Munster and Ireland this season.
"She is a really beautiful girl who is extremely down to earth and he seems to be pretty keen. They are getting on famously and things are going strong," said the source. "They have been trying to keep it on the down low but, yes, things are going very well."
Shauna will be the envy of many after Conor was voted the sexiest Irish rugby player, according to rugby fans. A survey carried out by www.elitesingles.ie in conjunction with the Rugby World Cup revealed that the Limerick man is the most lusted after player on the Irish squad.
The 26-year-old beat heartthrobs Ian Madigan and brothers Rob and Dave Kearney to win the title.
Murray has been an integral part of the successful Ireland team that has claimed back-to-back Six Nations championships.
A proud Munster man, he was chosen for the 2013 British and Irish Lions tour to Australia.
The news of his new love interest comes two years after Conor's best friend and fellow rugby player Simon Zebo hit headlines when he made advances to the stunning model online.
At the time her then boyfriend - RTE DJ JJ Hartigan - posted a picture online of Zebo 'poking' the pretty Miss Ireland runner-up, telling the player to back off.
He wrote on his Twitter account: "Simon Zebo should concentrate on poking his own bird and leave poking mine to me."
'Poking' is where you hit a button on someone's Facebook page to get their attention.
Shauna kept clear of the online spat, but was subjected to a torrent of vile abuse.
At the time a source close to the model told the Sunday Independent that it was upsetting for her family to see: "It is very upsetting. She is not letting it get to her at all, but seeing that kind of abuse directed towards an 18-year-old girl is incredible.
But now the world is much brighter for Shauna as she steps out with Conor.
"She is in a great place in her life. They are having a wonderful time," said a source.
Standing a statuesque 5ft 10ins, Shauna is in demand in the modelling world for her exotic good looks and bubbly personality.
She has since made her mark on a national level, becoming the face of GOSH cosmetics, among other projects.
Meanwhile, if you're still looking for love this weekend, then swotting up on your sports knowledge might help you score.
The same questionnaire by Elite Singles found that up to 60pc of Irish singles wanted to date a rugby fan, with 80pc of both men and women citing a passionate rugby fan of the opposite sex as 'sexy and interesting'.
