The 23-year-old is being sued alongside his Delivery Man co-star Brittany Leanna 'Britt' Robertson (24) following the alleged incident, which took place in 2012.

Loren Dehenes and Julie Shepherd claim Mr Reynor struck them with his car while driving through a crossing at Franklin Avenue and Beachwood Drive in Los Angeles on November 14 that year.

Court papers seen by the Herald show they are seeking damages of $1m each for alleged "pain, suffering and inconvenience".

Ms Dehenes is also seeking "medical expenses (to date)" of $13,742 while Ms Shepard is looking for $4,251 in that category.

The pair are seeking "undetermined" sums for future medical expenses, loss of earnings, loss of future earning capacity and property damage.

The women claim that Mr Reynor and Ms Robertson, along with Robertson's company, Freedom Artists Entertainment, showed "general negligence", causing personal injury.
