Iman shares rare photo of daughter Lexi - it's clear she's inherited David Bowie's cheekbones
Iman has shared a rare photo of daughter Lexi Bowie in honour of her 16th birthday.
Alexandria 'Lexi' Zahra Jones, whose father is the late David Bowie, turned 16 on Monday.
And to celebrate the special day, her mother Iman took to Instagram to share a photo of the teenager.
It's clear she's inherited her supermodel mother's natural flair for posing gracefully in front of the camera and her father's razor-sharp cheekbones.
"Happy sweet 16th birthday to my baby girl Lexi!" Iman (60) wrote on Twitter.
"Stay sweet 'Classy with a hint of sassy'".
She also received a birthday message from her father's official Instagram account, which is still controlled by his management team.
"HAPPY SIXTEENTH BIRTHDAY TO LEXI," the post reads. "'Fill your heart with love today, Don't play the game of time...' We're sure you will all want to join us in wishing many happy returns of the day to Alexandria Zahra Jones on her 16th birthday."
HAPPY SIXTEENTH BIRTHDAY TO LEXI "Fill your heart with love today, Don't play the game of time..." We're sure you will all want to join us in wishing many happy returns of the day to Alexandria Zahra Jones on her 16th birthday. Lexi, as she's known to her friends and family, is pictured here with her parents as a new-born baby back in 2000. The main pic is of her father in 1963, an ambitious 16-year-old himself with a particularly bright future ahead of him. Happy Birthday Lexi, here's wishing you love 'n stuff from everybody here. #HappyBirthdayLexi #Lexi16 #LexiLove
The tweet was accompanied by a photo of Lexi with her parents as a newborn in 2000, alongside a picture of Bowie when he was 16 in 1963.
Both Iman and Lexi have kept a low-profile since the Ziggy Stardust musician passed away from liver cancer at the age of 69 in New York City at his Manhattan family home on January 10.
The Somalian entrepreneur seems to feel comfortable communicating via Instagram as she recovers from Bowie's death.
Days after he died she published a meme onto the picture-sharing website which reads, "The struggle is real, but so is God", with a caption attached to the image, stating, "Rise #imandaily", as well as regular motivational quotes.
