Model Vogue Williams says that she will be voting 'Yes' in Friday's referendum because she wants her sister to have the chance to marry like she did.

The fashion blogger, whose sister Amber is gay, said that she would love to see her sister happily married, just as she is with former Westlife star Brian McFadden.

"My sister is a lesbian and I want her to have that same feeling. A civil partnership is not the same as marriage," she said.

"She's in a serious relationship with a girl I am obsessed with.

Vogue, who also works as a DJ on Spin 1038, believes that a 'No' vote is a "vote against people's happiness.

"I'm definitely 100pc voting 'Yes'. I think voting 'No' would be voting against other people's happiness," she said.

"Marriage is a great thing and it's nice to have that family bond with someone."

Vogue tied the knot to former boyband star Brian in a lavish ceremony in Italy in 2012 and while the pair couldn't be happier together, the Howth native admitted they're not without their lovers' tiffs.

Speaking to TV Now, the Dubliner revealed that she regularly blocks her husband on Twitter to annoy him.

However, the former Fade Street star said they never get into serious arguments, but instead fight like "brother and sister".

"I block Brian on a daily basis," she said.

"He gets so annoyed about it and it's the funniest thing to do. I have blocked him, and then he blocks me back, and then he tweeted that I blocked him.

"So we're really nice and immature like that. That's the sort of way our arguments go.

"We don't have massive fights, we just have a little niggle with each other, and will maybe not speak to each other for a couple of hours. Then the fight is over."
