Calvin Harris had some choice words for his ex Rita Ora today.
Earlier this week it was reported that the superstar DJ blocked his ex-girlfriend from performing at the Teen Choice Awards the song they recorded together, I Will Never Let You Down.
When asked about the last minute cancellation, Ora told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show: “I was supposed to perform, but Calvin wrote and produced the song... he owns the rights to it. He has to approve anything TV-wise. He didn’t approve the Teen Choice Awards.”
As for the reason behind the decision, she said: “You should ask him. You write a song with somebody and I guess there’s some stuff that comes with it. The show was going to be awesome and ... I [even] put my own money into the performance, like I always do.”
But Harris has hit back on Twitter this morning, saying: "You'll only hear one side of the story re choice awards because I choose not to talk to the papers about every aspect of my personal life.
"But just know I had a damn good reason."
