'I don't need a baby to feel complete' - Eva Longoria rejects pressure to become a mother

Actress Eva Longoria doesn’t feel her life is lacking without a baby.
The 40-year-old star is gearing up to tie the knot for a third time with fiance Jose Antonio Baston, who popped the question at the end of 2015. Eva will become stepmother to her beau’s three children, but has yet to start a family herself – not that she feels sad about it.
“I don’t feel like we are lacking because we don’t have a baby,” she shrugged to Britain’s Closer magazine. “We are fulfilled. If there is anything else to come, it would be the icing on the cake.”
Eva has the support of close pal Victoria Beckham and her husband David in organising everything from the bachelorette party to the ceremony.
The Desperate Housewives star insists her pre-wedding celebrations will be a lot more low-key affair this time around, with somewhere like a spa in mind.
Although she’s enjoying the excitement surrounding her nuptials, Eva wouldn’t be against something simple. “I wanted to elope and marry on a remote island just the two of us, but our friends and family won’t allow that – especially Victoria!” Eva laughed.
Being a successful fashion designer, the former Spice Girl is also lending a hand in choosing Eva’s bridal gown: “She’s helping me pick the perfect dress.
"She always knows exactly what looks good on me and is one of the only people in the world who will tell me the truth and if something looks hideous.”
It may come as a surprise to some that Eva is marrying Jose, as after first meeting in 2013 the brunette beauty admitted there was no spark.
But six months after being introduced by a mutual friend, Eva recalled she felt “angels singing” and romance quickly blossomed.
