How Kate Middleton celebrated her 35th birthday
Kate Middleton reportedly marked her 35th birthday was a "low key" celebration at home.
The Duchess of Cambridge turned 35 on Monday and instead of an over the top bash, she opted for some downtime with her husband Prince William and their two children Prince George (three) and Princess Charlotte (one) at their estate in Norfolk.
The royal couple were joined at Amner Hall by Kate's old friend Sophie Carter, who is known for her "loyalty and discretion", according to Vanity Fair. She is also one of Charlotte's godparents.
It's believed that Kate's family - including mother Carole, father Michael, sister Pippa and her fiancé James Matthews and her brother James - were also in attendance at the private festivities.
The Middletons were pictured at church on Sunday at Sandringham with Kate and William, who joined Britain's Queen Elizabeth in her first public appearance in more than a month as she battled acold.
It's back to business for the duchess tomorrow as she has two public engagements scheduled in London on Wednesday.
