Hayden Panettiere is expecting to host quite a “colourful” wedding.

The 24-year-old Nashville actress announced her engagement to Ukrainian boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko last October.

And the American star imagines her nuptial ceremony will be quite diverse.

"We're dealing with my side [of the family] coming from the US and his side coming from the Ukraine and all over Europe,” she explained in the April/May 2014 edition of Brides magazine.

“I want it to classic, beautiful, and elegant, but I also want it to be fun! I love colour, so that will play a big part."

Although Hayden has detailed ideas of what her wedding will be like, the star confesses she hasn’t even begun planning the event.

She is simply enjoying being engaged too much to be concerned over when she and Wladimir will officially tie the knot.

"I think it's nice to just enjoy this phase of the relationship, [we] haven't even planned the wedding yet,” she revealed.

Hayden met Wladimir, 37, when she was 19 years old and she is convinced he’ll be a great father.

The actress is elated to entertain the thought of becoming a mother soon.

"The idea of starting my own family is very exciting to me," she gushed.

"It's something I've always dreamed of."

Earlier this year Hayden revealed she and Wladimir are simply too busy to walk down the aisle.

"No. [Our] schedules are so crazy," she laughed to Access Hollywood before noting she is happy with their relationship as-is.

"But I also feel like it's a really cool transition to make in a relationship, to let it sink in and to feel out that aspect, when you've committed yourself to someone - it's one step down from the fullest commitment that you can make," she explained.
