Hollywood actress has Kate Hudson paid tribute to her famous mother as she picked up a gong at this year's Glamour awards.
Hudson, whose mother, actress Goldie Hawn, put in an appearance, said: "I grew up with an incredibly ambitious mother, but her ambition was for a greater purpose.
"In true Goldie form she was doing it for all women. We are all here together and we need to support each other, we need to create a support system. We are more powerful together."
Hudson - who split from British Muse frontman Matt Bellamy last year - won the Entrepreneur of the Year gong at the Glamour Women of the Year awards, presented by Sir Philip Green. Hudson founded her online clothing company, Fabletics, last year.
She told the audience: "Thank you to Glamour... I started this company and the core comes from something I'm passionate about... It was one of the most rewarding things I've ever been a part of... I couldn't do that without an incredible team of people. It's fun and I get to express myself."
Former flames Rita Ora and Calvin Harris were also named winners at this year's awards.
DJ Harris - now said to be dating Taylor Swift - was presented with the Man of the Year gong by model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
Harris said: "My mum is going to be so impressed - I've never been to anything like this in my life. I feel like I should make the worst speech of the night, being the sole male speech."
The Voice coach Ora stayed away from the ceremony, accepting her award for best TV Personality via video link.
Meanwhile, Fearne Cotton was named top Radio Personality - just days after airing her final show on Radio 1.
Claudia Winkleman - who was hosting last night's glitzy London ceremony - was named best Presenter alongside Tess Daly for their Strictly Come Dancing roles.
The Theory of Everything star Felicity Jones took home the Film Actress trophy.

Schumer said: "Thank you, Glamour has given me a voice. I'm not going to apologise for who I am. I make fun of women's magazines a lot. I want to thank Glamour, and my younger sister. Man I want to really thank Goldie Hawn, it's been so inspiring."
