Hailey Baldwin told boyfriend Justin Bieber he would 'lose her if he didn't get serious'
After more than a year of an are they/aren't they relationship, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have finally decided to give their romance a real shot.
The What Do You Mean singer (21) and model (19) are long-time friends, but rumours of something more have followed them whenever they were both single.
But Baldwin reportedly had a heart to heart with the superstar, telling him that monogamy was the only option for them as a couple going forward. After it was reported he was "hooking up" with Kourtney Kardashian in November, Stephen Baldwin's daughter put her foot down.
"She demanded he stop stringing her along," a source told Us Weekly. "She said he would lose her if he didn’t man up and show he was serious about her.”
“Justin has never had a woman act like that before. He couldn’t say no. So he’s been seeing her again and is with her all the time."
Her talk clearly worked as the pair have been inseparable in recent weeks, enjoying trips to St Barts and Mexico over the last month and have now returned to their base in LA.
The musician has denied he and Hailey were dating in the past, insisting to Billboard magazine in November the fashion star is just "one of my best friends in the entire world". Justin's first serious relationship was with fellow singer Selena Gomez, as the couple initially got together in 2010, but they broke up two years later.
Hailey has also sung Justin's praises in the past, telling Page Six he is a sweetheart.
“This past year (Justin) has made a lot of big changes in his life,” Hailey told the outlet in September. “He’s really a good person and I don’t think everybody knows that side of him. I think he’s trying to get everybody to know that’s who he really is.
“He’s one of the most caring and most polite people I know.”
