Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin will reportedly continue to live together.

The Oscar-winning actress and the Coldplay frontman announced they were ending their ten-year marriage earlier this week.

Despite deciding on a "conscious uncoupling", it's been revealed the pair could remain as close as ever.

New York Post's Page Six claims Gwyneth and Chris will continue to live together in their multi-million mansion in Malibu.

The couple bought the home not long before they announced their breakup.

Some insiders have speculated it could become a "bachelor pad" for the singer, but it's now been revealed that there are two separate living spaces.

This means the pair could continue to cohabit, with enough personal space, while they sort out the divorce.

“They plan to continue to live together as often as their schedule allows, especially during the children’s school year,” a source told

“That estate, and their massive warehouse conversion in New York means they will live together often as a family, but have separate bedrooms.”

Gwyneth has children Apple and Moses with Chris and in the statement on her Goop website promised they would continue to "co-parent".

“We... always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been,” she wrote.

Meanwhile neighbours of the couple's have opened up about their experiences with the A-listers.

The Los Angeles residents hope that at least Chris will stick around.

“Everyone around here loves Chris. He was the one who would take the kids to school or walk the dogs and stop to chat," an insider told British newspaper The Sun.

“But she is less approachable. We have to talk to her through a middle-man, one of her staff called Nigel.

“The only time she has ever smiled at me was when she was selling her Goop-recipe lemonade on the street corner."
