Greece is the word for Nicola Hughes and Made In Chelsea's Alex
Nicola Hughes' romance with Made in Chelsea bad-boy Alex Mytton has moved up a gear.
As revealed in the Diary, the former Dandelion hostess has embarked on a whirlwind dalliance with the spiky-haired lothario who broke Binky's heart in the last series.
She may insist it's still early days, but he whisked her away for a fun-filled holiday in Greece last Thursday.
"They've gone away for the week to get to know each other better. He's pulling out all the stops to impress her - and has the money to do it," said a source.
It's not yet known if Nicola will become the first Irish model to feature in an episode of Made in Chelsea, thanks to her new relationship.
However, she has already met some of his fellow cast members from the hit programme.
She posted a picture of Alex chatting on his phone while they were in Greece and tagged MIC star Robbo McCallum in the message, saying: "This is what I'm dealing with…Take me to Ibiza."
The Sandyford native's profile across the water is set to soar as a result of hooking up with Alex as pictures of her began circulating on social networking sites after being described as his new girl.
She told the Diary how he was "genuinely a really nice guy" and nothing like his womanising character on the hit E4 reality show.
Nicola first met Alex over three weeks ago when he came to Ireland for a personal appearance in the Naas Court Hotel along with best pal Jamie.
The pair first set tongues wagging after being pictured together at the event, where they obviously hit it off.
Then two weeks later, she was pictured travelling in a car with him during a trip to London.
Alex, who previously had a serious relationship with MIC star Binky Felstead before admitting to cheating on her with a number of other girls, had invited Nicola over to attend an event in Eastbourne.
Nicola has been tipped for a role in her own reality TV show after being asked to take part in a show called Exiles.
Made by Straywave, the same company behind Dublin Housewives, she was picked as one of seven young Irish people who'll move over to Ontario.
They'll be followed on their Canadian journey by a camera crew as they try their hand at making it in the city - but no deals have been signed yet.
