Grainne Seoige plans two weddings in Ireland and South Africa
It is the happiest day of your life so why not celebrate it twice?
Broadcaster Grainne Seoige is set to wed her rugby coach boyfriend Leon Jordaan in the coming months and the mother-of-one is hoping to host two parties to mark the couple's union.
The 40-year-old gaelgoir and her other half are currently planning their nuptials and a source told the Herald that the loved-up Crimcecall anchor wants to have a ceremony in Ireland, as well as Leon's native South Africa, to toast their marriage and ensure all of their friends can be part of the special occasion.
The pair are reportedly hoping to say 'I do' at the end of year or in early 2015.
They got engaged several months ago, telling only their close friends and family in an effort to keep it out of the spotlight
They kept the proposal a secret to enjoy it by themselves, but threw an engagement bash last April at popular nightclub Lillies Bordello.
It is not the first time that Grainne will walk down the aisle.
She was married to former TV3 colleague Stephen Cullinane for eight years until 2010.
The RTE star and former All Ireland Talent Show presenter has been dating Leon since October 2011.
They met while Grainne was filming her Reality Bites programme, Grainne's Modern Life, at his rugby club in Navan.
Grainne, who is notoriously private about her personal life, said that Leon "understands" a west of Ireland girl like her.
"He gets me. What I love about him is his sense of kindness and fun.
"He also has a strong sense of what's fair and what's right," she added.
