Grainne Seoige makes first red carpet appearance in a year at the People of the Year Awards
RTE star Grainne Seoige made her first red carpet appearance in a year at the People of the Year Awards.
The CrimeCall presenter (42) stunned in a black and gold gown with mesh detail by her designer of choice, Don O'Neill's Theia couture, for her rare increasingly rare red carpet turn.
Seoige, who is normally a staple at the IFTAs and VIP Style Awards, was nowhere to be seen at media events in the last 12 months. She was last pictured in December 2014 at Keith Duffy's annual Irish Autism Action ball with her sister Sile.
However, she made an exception to her rule to host the POTYA, organised by RTE and Rehab, which she has fronted for the last number of years and this year, was joined by broadcaster Aidan Power.
She is currently engaged to South African rugby coach Leon Jordaan, but has keeping details of her upcoming wedding under lock and key as she is famously private when it comes to discussing her personal life.
Her return to the spotlight has been praised by fashionistas as the former Daybreak contributor as long been hailed as one of Ireland's most stylish women.
Other famous faces at the exclusive event included Anne Doyle, Eileen Dunne, Diana Bunici and her mother Maria, Blathnaid Treacy, Stephen Byrne, Lorraine Keane and Aoibhin Garrihy.
