Gordon Ramsay announces in heartbreaking post that wife Tana has miscarried
Gordon Ramsay announced the hearbreaking news that his wife Tana has miscarried at five months pregnant.
The popular TV chef took to Facebookon Monday afternoon to announce the devastating news.
Gordon wrote: 'Hi guys, Tana and I want to thank you so much for your support over the past couple of weeks.
"We had a devastating weekend as Tana has sadly miscarried our son at five months.
"We're together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes."
He added: "I’d especially like to send a big thank you to the amazing team at Portland Hospital for everything they’ve done. Gx".
The couple, who have been married for 20 years, are parents to Megan (18), twins Jack and Holly (16) and Matilda (14).
The 49-year-old admitted in September that the baby was due in September when he appeared on the Late Late Show with James Corden and said the family were hoping for a boy.
“We have three girls and a boy... and one more on the way. I’m a little bit nervous,” he said
“I’m just worried. I mean, obviously I’d be happy with another girl. But four girls, four weddings, four sweet sixteens, four boyfriends...”
