Glamorous granny Celia Holman Lee celebrates 65th birthday with incredible bikini photo
Talk about a glamorous granny. Celia Holman Lee has shown off a bikini body that a woman half her age would be proud of.
Incredibly, this picture was taken as she celebrated her 65th birthday during a holiday on the French Riviera.
The Limerick model agency owner has long been championed as one of Ireland's foremost fashion- istas, but now she has shown she has an enviable figure to match.
It seems that her trick to looking this good at 65 is simple - she puts it all down to good posture.
"Good posture is your gift to yourself," she said. "All the models that I've trained over the years call me the 'ears over the shoulders' lady, because I'm always screaming it at them.
"You could have a beautiful girl and the clothes just don't sit right and you're wondering why - and then you realise it's because of posture.
"It's all about how you carry yourself. Good posture helps you breathe better, it tucks your bottom under and makes your boobs sit up.
"All the girls that have moved on from my agency say that it's the one thing that they've taken from the job, good posture."
Celia celebrated her 65th birthday in December and went on holiday to France with husband, Ger. It was there the bikini picture was taken.
She said she was initially reluctant to let the photo go public, but she eventually relented and, since then, has received huge compliments for her toned figure.
The picture has inevitably drawn comparisons with fellow older beauties such as Helen Mirren, who was also pictured on the beach looking amazing in a two-piece.
"I'm thrilled with that and, of course, I'm honoured," said Celia.
But she added that she is careful with her diet and loves doing gentle exercise such as walking and also running around after her four grandchildren, one-year-old Tommy, Ryan (4), Erica (5) and Henry (7).
She also said she loves eating out, and will allow herself a treat if she's going to someone else's home, but tries to eat healthily when it comes to her own meals.
"When I'm at home, I'm strict with myself in terms of what I eat - everything in moderation," she said.
"I try not to eat too many sweet things, because then your taste buds become aroused and you want to have more of something.
"My favourite saying is, 'Do everything but don't do too much of anything'.
"It's just about finding what works for you. I try to walk a lot and I do my own version of weights and maybe a few squats.
"But that could be twice in one week or not at all. I'm not very disciplined with myself.
"My work isn't office-based either - we do a lot of fashion shows, so I'm always running around, which I'm sure also helps a lot."
Celia is one of the nominees at this year's Peter Mark VIP Style Awards, which take place at the Marker Hotel in Dublin on May 6.
