Golfer Rory McIlroy claims he can outsprint his fiancée over 100 yards as he is in the gym up to six times a week.
However, the world famous golfer admitted that when it comes to fitness and endurance he is no match for tennis star Caroline Wozniacki.
McIlroy has opened up to fans about his relationship with the 23-year-old tennis star -- a subject he normally remains tight-lipped on.
"She would kill me at endurance," he told fans on Twitter after being quizzed over who is the faster half of the sporting pair.
The 24-year-old Co Down native went down on one knee to propose to Wozniacki on New Year's Eve and has since kept wedding plans secret.
A source close to the couple speculated that it may be a long engagement for the pair who are facing a full schedule for the year ahead.
It appears that the curly haired star is also doing his best to make sure that his toned physique is in pristine condition for when he takes the blonde down the aisle, as he revealed that he is trying to hit the gym "five to six times a week".
