Irish model Roz Lipsett is dividing her time posing in bikinis with working in a brokerage firm.

The 29-year-old beauty is based in Los Angeles for the last three years, and while modelling and acting are her first loves - she's busy pursuing another passion in business.

"I started working part time in the brokerage firm as the world of finance is something that really interests me," Roz told the Irish Sun on Sunday.

"The finance world is a possible road I may taken when I decide to hang up my high heels."

The former beauty queen also revealed she recently shot a pilot called Stocks and Stilettos, about women working in finance, which she hopes will propel her burgeoning acting career.

While she hasn't "established herself" as an actress, she said she is currently completing dialect lessons in order to achieve an American accent for roles.

"Unfortunately there are not many roles for Irish women in movies, so an American accent is mandatory," she explained.

She previously explained that she is focusing on making her own luck, saying: "This city is so dense with talent that it's pointless to wait around for a big break.

"I decided to make my own luck and have created my own online channel where I've started recording a series of videos. They are comedy-based short viral pieces. The first one will come out this week, so check it out.

"I think there's a void in the industry for female Irish comedic actresses and I would like to fill that."
