That's another thing off the bucket list for Ryan Tubridy.

The Irish king of broadcasting was given an honorary lifetime membership to Connemara Golf Club in Ballyconneely, Co Galway and hit the green in front of the cameras to commemorate the occasion.

While he looked red faced after his efforts, he likely wasn't prepared for a day on the green as he reportedly has never played the game before.

Club captain Brian Hughes told The Irish Daily Star: "As far as I know Ryan has never played a stroke of golf in his life — but it’s a ceremonial honour."

Dressed in a pair of smart chinos, navy blazer and crisp shirt, he looked more ready for a casual wedding than the golf course.

But he gets serious points for effort.
