Fifi pays tribute to 'beautiful' sister Peaches Geldof

Peaches Geldof's older sister Fifi has broken her silence on the trafic death of her 25-year-old sister.

Mum-of-two Peaches died last night at the age of 25.

Her father Bob Geldof released a heartbreaking statement following the tragedy soon afterward and now her big sister has paid tribute.

"My beautiful baby sister, Gone but never forgotten. I love you, Peaches x," she wrote on her Instagram alongside a nostalgic photo of the two of them as children.

Peaches' cause of death is still unknown, but her death has not been ruled as suspicious.

She was found at her home in Kent last night and a post-mortem is expected to be conducted tomorrow.

Their father Bob last night said: "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us.

"Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?

"We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is.

"Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken."

The statement was signed Bob, Jeanne, Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Geldof.

Tom said: "My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts every day. We shall love her for ever."

Peaches was a young girl when her mother died from an accidental heroin overdose in 2000, aged 40.
