Fade Street star Louise Johnston was among the 80,000 strong crowd cheering on Ed Sheeran at his first Croke Park gig last night.
Louise (24), a brand manager and consultant, was snapped as she entered the stadium for the gig, which garnered glowing reviews after a storming set by Ed during which he was joined on stage by Dublin rockers Kodaline.
The Irish TV star and English singer have been friends for years, but recently it was reported that love had blossomed.
A source told the Sunday Independent that their friendship was turning into more in recent months, and they were reported to have had a series of dates.
"They are constantly in touch, even when he is on his world tour but he is coming here soon for a gig in Dublin and they will be able to catch up then," said the source.
"Friends and family now know so it is out there. Louise really cares about him and it's going very well."
However, Ed denied any romance, stating that he was still single.
"It's actually non-existent at the moment. I'm not in anything," he said recently before taking to the stage for his three night residency at Wembley Stadium.
"My relationship ended and then the day after it ended I was in the Middle East, Asia, South America, New Zealand – I was just gone and in my mind I had no time to settle with it. So I was just working, working, working…
"I haven't really had time to sit back and re-evaluate personal life, because I don't really have a personal life."
Ed takes to the stage at Croke Park tonight for the second of his two gigs.
