Eoghan McDermott ditches the airwaves for the catwalk in Irish designer's futuristic fashion show
It looks like RTE 2fm presenter Eoghan McDermott took some modelling tips from his other half Jo Archbold, as he took to the catwalk for a fashion fundraiser.
The 32-year-old left the security of radio behind as he stalked the runway for a good cause.
The broadcaster was enlisted by fashion designer Claire Garvey to walk in her charitable fashion show last night.
The show, in aid of Cradle Ireland which helps children in war torn areas, was the final event of the Dublin Fashion Festival.
McDermott took to Twitter to praise the "incredibly talented" designer for the event which showcased her famed, avant garde designs.
He added that it was a "privilege" to walk in the show, which also featured singer Jack L.
Claire Garvey, who has a studio in Temple Bar's Cows Lane, has previously dressed Nile Rogers of Chic fame, and sent her designs to the world stage last year when Miss Universe Ireland Lisa Madden wore her traditional Celtic warrior-inspired costume.
