EastEnders will pour more misery on Whitney Dean after she confronts cheating boyfriend Lee Carter.

Troubled Whitney (played by Shona McGarty) is pregnant and the reluctant father is Lee (Danny-Boy Hatchard).

Whitney receives shocking news - she is told she has chlamydia.

Lee is not ready to be a parent, but the former soldier is also hiding a secret from Whitney - he had sex with Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald).

Abi contracted the sexually transmitted disease from ex-boyfriend Ben Mitchell (Harry Reid).

Ben, who is in mourning after the death of his boyfriend Paul Coker (Jonny Labey), dated Abi when he was in the closet.

Whitney grows increasingly paranoid after the diagnosis.

She worries for her unborn child and stresses about how she will be viewed by Lee's family.

But as she ponders the turn of events, she eventually realises there may be more to the story.

In scenes that will be broadcast in the BBC One soap on August 1, Whitney confronts Lee and Abi.

Will the truth about the one night stand come out?

The clock is already ticking as a drunken Abi told sister Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) about the fling.
