Dwayne kept Hercules under wraps
Dwayne Johnson has said he found it hard to keep his Hercules look to himself, but wanted to so that he could go for a big reveal.
The Fast And Furious 6 actor told fans at CinemaCon that he had wanted to wait until his full image as the character from the film of the same name was ready.
He joked: "As an actor, not showing my chiseled, extraordinary, handsome face was a tremendous sacrifice for me.
"Paramount, MGM and I made a pact. We wanted to make a massive global and entertaining movie while doing all we could to never reveal the actual look of Hercules."
Dwayne slowly rolled out photos from the set of the film over months via his Twitter page, aiming to bring fans along on his journey from his training to his diet.
On Sunday, the 41-year-old finally unveiled his Hercules look in its entirety.
He tweeted a photo revealing his full beard, shoulder-length brown locks and armour, captioned: "The world's first superhero. #TilDeathOrVictory."
Dwayne, who is also known for his wrestling career as The Rock, claimed he had never trained harder for a role.
He added: "But in the end, it was all well worth it."
