Domhnall Gleeson celebrates Conor McGregor’s victory at VIP after party in SLS Las Vegas
Actor Domhnall Gleeson was among the Irish celebrities celebrating Conor McGregor’s victory in Las Vegas last night at the VIP after party in SLS Las Vegas.
The ‘Brooklyn’ star was pictured with his friend Love/Hate’s Laurence Kinlan posing with an Irish flag in celebration of McGregor’s 13-second long victory over world champion Jose Aldo last night.
“Partying with the champ and family. Nothing but respect for Conor and the whole team. Great night here at SLS Las Vegas,” Laurence posted on Twitter.
The new champion McGregor revealed that he would be celebrating attaining the world title in MGM Grand in Sin City last night.
"The strip will be green, with and orange. I have an after party at the SLS so I'm going to have some steak with my family , a little bit of food and then I'm going to celebrate with my fans who are at the after party," he said.
"A little drink or two and then just rest for the night and see what tomorrow brings."
McGregor revealed that the support from Ireland in the run-up to the much-anticipated fight has been uncontested.
“The Irish fans... you can't beat them. We are making this sport what it is today,” he said speaking at a press conference after attaining the belt.
"The whole world is looking at our country, the eyes are on the Irish. I'm proud of that and very, very grateful.
"I'm extremely proud of my nations and grateful for all the people who have came over.
"The fans all weekend have been amazing. We are good people, no trouble, we just wanna have a good time."
