DJ Dara Quilty and model Daniella Moyles split after four years of dating
It looks like Daniella Moyles and boyfriend Dara Quilty have decided to go their separate ways.
The brunette model (27) and the 98fm DJ (28) were dating for over four years but rumours emerged in recent weeks that the high-profile pair’s relationship was over.
When asked if the speculation was true, the Kildare native did not rubbish the rumours, instead preferring to stay tight-lipped.
“I understand you have to ask but I don’t want to comment on that,” she told the Diary.
It’s understood that the break-up was amicable and the pair are still good pals, despite not being seen together in recent weeks.
The model and Spin 1038 presenter recently spoke about her relationship and indicated that she was in no rush to walk down the aisle.
“I’m a complete commitment-phobe. We’ve still yet to move in with each other,” she said.
While she may no longer be loved-up, Daniella is busy with the travel blog she co-runs with pal Martin Gaughan. The pair regularly jet around the globe and film for their website and segment on TV3’s The Seven O’Clock Show.
“We’re running around the globe like lunatics which is an amazing complaint,” she said.
“It’s so funny, I never would have been the type of person to imagine you can carve a career path out of your passions.
“It’s great to see it all working together. Martin is currently off to the Greek Islands and then he’s going to Iran.
“I’m going to New York and then three weeks after that I’m going to LA – the Burning Man festival in Nevada and Yosemite.”
After recently hiring a marketing manager, the Kildare native hopes to turn their blog into a successful business.
“We have a ton of spaces that we would like to fill with an amazing team but it’s a slow process.
“We’ve been lucky so far that the reaction has been really sound and everyone has been lovely about it and we’ve had some great opportunities. We’ve been able to hit the ground running.
“That’s the plan as it starts to expand, but that will be a few months down the line.”
The venture has been going well for the pair so far with fans crashing the site on its first day live.
Although she’s represented by Distinct Model Management, the Spin 1038 host doesn’t pose for the camera as much as she used to.
“I’ve never retired or given it up or anything,” she said.
“I just kind of dip in and out of it whenever I’m free.”
