Cosompolitan magazine under fire for labelling the Kardashians 'America's First Family'
Cosmopolitan magazine's decision to describe the Karadashians as "America's First Family" has been largely slammed by readers.
The glossy American magazine features Khloe, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian with their mother Kris Jenner and sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner for its November cover - their first joint photoshoot in four years.
And while the spread is undoubtedly a major coup for the publication, their description as the "First Family" has outraged many.
In the spread, Ryan Seacrest, who gave the family their first break with Keeping Up With The Kardashians on E! said even he underestimated how far the family would go.
"No one could have predicted the Kardashians' and Jenners' success," he told the magazine in its 50th anniversary issue. "But when you spend time with them, what resonates is the family unit. There are so many things about them that are glamorous, crazy, and unlike our lives, but the sense of family is universal."
"They love and stand by one another no matter what. Their unvarnished candor reveals how close they really are."
